A free-to-play Warframe shooter will be released on mobile devices soon. It was announced during TennoCon by the Digital Extremes studio. However, the exact date of this release has not been named yet. At the moment, only the gameplay trailer is available, tested on the iPhone 12. The developers managed to make significant progress in transferring the game to mobile devices, which means that it will not be too long to wait for the release of the full version.

Another great news for Warframe fans is the addition of the cross-play and cross-save option with all available platforms. It means that all users of PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series X/S, and PC can play together, and of course, mobile gamers will also be included. Progress on all devices will be synchronized and promptly updated. This feature is also still in development, and detailed information on dates and much more will be announced by the creators later.

Also, at TennoCon, the Digital Extremes studio presented a trailer for the add-on, which was called The New War. Its release was announced a few years ago (back in 2018), but it had to be postponed due to the pandemic. In the story, players will have to fight an army of aggressive machines striving to destroy all living things. It is worth noting that, among other stuff, the update will add a new feature to the game, thanks to which users will be able to control not only their warframes (combat exoskeletons) but also other characters.

Another novelty will be a new frame called Caliban. This frame will allow users to feel like a real tank with its unique passive skills. It will be able to absorb a significant part of the damage from opponents not only for itself but for the entire team. This add-on is expected to be released later this year.
