At last, Nintendo Switch has received its version of the popular Pokémon TV app! The free streaming service is already available on all iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices. Besides, you can find it on your Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV. If you’re new to the app and want to try it on your Switch, read the details below.
Window to Pokéverse
Pokémon TV is a full-fledged Pokémon video streaming service that includes all the existing TV show episodes, new and upcoming content presentations, all sorts of specials, and official gameplay videos from all Pokémon games, including both video and card games.
Although the app is very similar to YouTube and proprietary streaming platforms by Blockman Go and Roblox, it’s entirely curated. It means that you won’t ever encounter any unwanted content all of a sudden. All the clips are verified by the developer so that you can be confident about the quality of content. No screaming, bad language, inappropriate scenes – nothing you might not want to see! The experience is getting even more satisfying when you find out that it’s all totally for free and without ads.
The great news is that the console app also allows you to download any episode and watch it offline in any of the 12 available languages without the need to get a Premium tier! The iOS, Android, and TV versions have the same functionary and let you synchronize your progress with your console. The only disadvantage is that some of the older episodes might become unavailable at times, so it’s recommended to download old episodes if you want to watch them later.
